Abstract |
There are particular phenomena that current efficiency is high and zinc is more preferentially deposited than iron group metals in zinc alloy. In this study, a new electrodeposition mechanism to explain these phenomena is proposed. One electrochemical reaction of zinc deposition or dissolution is composed of three different electrochemical reactions. Zinc and zincate ions are converted electrochemically to metal by way of zinc oxides. (Received January 8, 2004) |
