The high temperature deformation of Al-Li alloy (8090) has been studied in the temperature range from 320℃ to 500℃ and the strain rate range from 3.46 × 10^(-1)/sec to 2.07 × 10^0/sec by hot torsion. Judging from the flow curves and the change of structure produced by continuous deformation, the high temperature restoration mechanism of Al-Li alloy was the dynamic recovery. The constitutive equation relating the strain rate to the flow stress and temperature could be described by exponential equation, ε˚=A exp (βσ) exp (-Q/RT). The value of constants of constitutive equation were A=2.013 × 10^(13), β=0.0755, activation energy=207KJ/㏖, respectively. |
