Abstract
The effects of Borax and Cryolite on the formation reaction and the magnetic property of Strontium ferrite powder were investigated. The results obtained are as follows. The calcination temperature of Sr ferrite powder is lowered by the addition of Borax or Cryolite. Remanence and coercivity of the Sr-ferrite powder are increased by annealing treatment. The addition of Borax or Cryolite slightly increases the magnetic properties of Sr-ferrite powder.
