Abstract
The compounds of the composition of 2SrO ·Fe₂O₃are prepared by equilibrating prereacted material at various temperature and pressure, then electrical and magnetic properties and Mo¨ssbauer effect are measured. The compounds of the composition of 2SrO ·Fe₂O₃consist in two phases, cubic and rhombohedral structures, according to oxygen component. SrFeO_2.5 phase contains octahedrally and tetrahedrally coordinated iron sites. SrFeO_(3-x) phase is cubic perovskite structure and conductive and its temperature dependence is characteristic of metallic conduction. Magnetic property is antiferromagnetic, Ne`el temperature and resitivity of SrFeO_(3-x) phase are dependent upon the oxygen deficiency.
